I have been providing a wide range of accounting, tax and advisory services to an equally wide range of businesses, professionals and non profits for over thirty years. I began my training in 1988 with a local accounting firm and in 1997 I started my own practice. In 1994 I received my CGA designation and in 2014 the three accounting bodies of CA, CGA, CMA merged into one accounting body known as CPA (Chartered Professional Accountants).
Over the years I have held various volunteer positions including sitting on the Y Homes board and a Teen Esteem volunteer meeting with girls in grade 7 & 8. I am also a past chair of the CPA Ontario Small and Medium Practice Advisory Committee, volunteering my time to ensure my colleagues voices are heard by our association.
Beyond my own experience and knowledge, the CPA designation provides a framework of rules and oversight that strengthens my commitment to protection of the public.
